For the Love of Dogs

I'm Andrea Stone. I found Basenjis in 1994 and haven't looked back. My dogs and I compete in a variety of sports, including lure coursing, conformation, tricks, Rally, scent work and more. My goal is to have healthy, well rounded, happy dogs with enriched lives. And maybe kick a little tail in the process.

I strive to produce puppies that will be wonderful companions, ready for any adventure. They should have stable, even temperaments with a bit of get-up-and-go, and bodies ready to meet any challenge.

Puppies are raised using Puppy Culture techniques. They go to their new homes having been exposed to as much as we can fit in, as well socialized as possible, and started on house-training, crate-training and some very basic commands.

We test hips, elbows, eyes, thyroid, elbows and run breed appropriate DNA tests on dogs we intend to breed. Our dogs have been nationally ranked in conformation and lure coursing as well as Rally obedience.I have worked as a veterinary assistant, grooming assistant, pet sitter and dog walker, kennel manager and owned my own training business for over a decade.

I am a member in good standing with the Basenji Club of America and Evergreen Basenji Club.
